Izzi Ekhahiemen is a visionary fashion designer and founder of the eponymous label Izzi Wears.

His brand focuses on using African fabric for self-discovery, self-expression, and personal branding. With a passion for celebrating different identities and promoting inclusivity, Izzi wears collections that transcend mere clothing—they allow individuals to embrace their authentic selves and connect with people with like-minded styles and identities. At the heart of Izzi’s design philosophy lies the belief that fashion should be inclusive and accessible to people of all backgrounds, shapes, and sizes. His collections creatively blend traditional African aesthetics with contemporary silhouettes, creating pieces that are both timeless and trendsetting.

Born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria, Izzi grew up surrounded by the vibrant colors, patterns, and traditions of African culture. From an early age, he was captivated by the way clothing could be a form of self-expression and a celebration of individuality. His journey into fashion design began as a child fashion model, which led him to an early discovery of fashion as a tool for self-expression. He later hit the RunWay for Popular Fashion Modela Couture while training in fashion design at the School of Fashion and Textile. In 2013, Izzi embarked on a mission to redefine the African fashion industry’s standards to fuse culture and representation. Drawing inspiration from his multicultural upbringing, his early work in the industry, and his travels across Africa, he founded his eponymous label, Izzi Wear.
